The IEM is happy to announce the forthcoming Mini-Symposium on "Transdisciplinary research on ancient mummified tissue".

The keynote lectures will be given by two distinguished international experts: Prof. Salima Ikram (American University in Cairo, Egypt) will talk aout “Tales from tombs: Decoding Egyptian mummies.” Prof. Albert Zink (EURAC research, Bolzano, Italy) will speak about “Ötzi the Iceman as a source to study human health in the past and nowadays.”
