I am an evolutionary anthropologist who develops quantitative methods, such as Bayesian multilevel models and meta-analytic techniques, to understand cross-cultural variation in human behavior and development. My research interests include the coevolution of human subsistence and sociality, learning and transmission of food preferences during childhood, and socio-ecological influences on health and well-being.
