Background

I am an evolutionary biologist and data scientist interested in understanding the adaptation of complex social behaviors and life history traits in dynamic environments. My research employs integrative and comparative approaches, in coordination with formal theory and Bayesian statistical methods, to explain the evolution of social interactions within and across animal societies. Currently, I am investigating the evolutionary ecology and quantitative genetics of cooperation in a small-scale human society.
